As a shadow teacher, I support learners with challenges in their academic, social, and emotional development. I assist the learner during classroom activities, help them understand instructions, and encourage positive behaviour. I guide the learner in completing assignments and participating in school activities comfortably. I also work closely with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure the learner’s needs are met effectively. I monitor the learner’s progress, provide emotional support, and help build confidence and independence. Additionally, I ensure the learner is safe, comfortable, and included in the learning environment at all times.
