USB RS-232 DB9 Male Serial Adapter Converter with Prolific ChipPerfect Adapter for standard applications that require serial communication via a standard DB-9 rs-232 serial port. Small, compact, and ready to go! The CA232A1 contains a Prolific Chip, PL2303, in its mini design giving it automatic recognition as an additional COM port when installed.
While the converter can be connected directly at the host USB port or with a USB extension cable, the functionality of the DB-9 male serial adapter is improved with screw lock mechanisms to ensure a secure connection.
