The Dayliff DSD 3/7 is a small-capacity, high-head 3-inch submersible borehole pump designed for domestic water supply.1 It is powered by an energy-efficient 0.5HP (0.37kW) single-phase motor.2The pump features 7 stages of polycarbonate impellers and diffusers within a stainless steel casing, giving it excellent sand-handling capabilities (up to 0.25% sand content).3 It can achieve a maximum vertical head lift of up to 50 meters (164 feet) and a flow rate up to 4$3.5\text{m}^3/\text{hr}$.5 It is supplied complete with a control box for thermal and electrical protection and is rated IP68 for full submersion, making it reliable for deep, narrow wells.
