A maize sheller is an essential piece of agricultural machinery designed to efficiently separate maize kernels from the cobs. These machines come in various sizes, from small, portable units for household use to larger, industrial-scale models for commercial farms and processing centers.
Typically powered by an electric motor, a petrol engine, or a tractor's PTO, they work by feeding the cobs into a chamber where rollers or beaters rapidly dislodge the kernels.
