How It Works Water Connection 🚰 The drinker is connected to a water pipe or tank through the inlet at the bottom. Valve Inside the Drinker Inside there is a valve controlled by the black paddle/lever you see in the bowl. Cow Pushes the Paddle 🐄 When a cow wants to drink, it pushes the black paddle with its nose or tongue. Water Flows 💧 Pushing the paddle opens the valve, allowing fresh water to flow into the bowl. Valve Closes Automatically When the cow stops pushing the paddle, the valve closes, stopping the water flow.
