The Rubi 6mm tile cutter blade is actually a scoring wheel, also commonly referred to as a cutting wheel or rodel, for their manual tile cutters.
Here is what the 6mm scoring wheel is typically used for:
Material: It is primarily recommended for scoring and cutting ceramic tiles and glass tiles.
Surface: It performs best on tiles with a smooth or very slightly textured surface.
Cut: It is designed to make a quick, fine, and shallow incision, which is ideal for the break on a smooth ceramic or glazed tile without causing surface damage or chipping.
