How to Use a Manual Rebound Hammer:

Press the plunger until the spring releases and strikes the concrete.
4. Read the Rebound Value:
Note the reading shown on the scale immediately.
5. Take Multiple Readings:
Perform 8–10 tests in the area, discard outliers, and calculate the average.
6. Interpret the Results:
Compare the average rebound number with the manufacturer’s conversion chart to estimate concrete compressive strength.
7. Document findings.
