Focusing: Look through the telescope and focus on the target object using the focusing knob. 4. Measuring Horizontal Angles: Align the telescope with a reference point, set the horizontal circle to zero, then rotate to the second point and read the horizontal angle. 5. Measuring Vertical Angles: Tilt the telescope up or down to sight the target and read the vertical angle from the vertical circle. 6. Fine Adjustments: Use the slow-motion screws for precise alignment on the target. 7. Recording Data: Note all measured angles carefully for calculations. 8. Rechecking: Always verify
