Set it on the exact spot where you want the measurement to begin. 3. Walk the distance. Push the wheel along the ground, following the exact path you want to measure. • Walk at a normal pace • Keep the wheel straight • Don’t lift it off the ground 4. Stop at your end point. Look at the counter on the handle. 5. Read your measurement. The number shown is your distance traveled. 6. Reset to zero if you need to measure again.
