Place the Wheel at Your Starting Point • Position the wheel directly on the ground at the exact place where you want to begin measuring. • Ensure the wheel is vertical, not angled. 3. Walk the Path You Want to Measure • Push the wheel forward at a steady walking pace. • Keep the wheel on the ground the whole time—lifting it will mess up the measurement. • Follow the exact path the measurement should reflect (straight line, curve, around obstacles, etc.). 4. Read the Distance • When you reach your end point, stop and look at the counter. • The display will show the total distance traveled by the wheel (usually in feet, meters, or both).
