An Electric Automatic Tourniquet System (also called an electronic pneumatic tourniquet) is a surgical device used to control blood flow to a limb during operations, especially in orthopedic, plastic, and vascular procedures.
How it works
A cuff is placed around the limb (arm or leg)
The system uses an electric pump or pneumatic system to inflate the cuff
Controlled pressure compresses blood vessels → stops circulation beyond the cuff
Pressure and time are automatically monitored and regulated
