The tp-link mc112cs omada 10/100mbps wdm media converter converts between 100base-fx single-mode fiber and 10/100mbps copper ethernet. it uses wdm technology, allowing data transmission and reception over a single fiber cable, helping reduce fiber cabling requirements.
it features 1 × 10/100mbps rj45 port with auto mdi/mdix and 1 × 100mbps sc/upc fiber port. the mc112cs uses 1310nm for transmission and 1550nm for reception and can extend the network connection up to 20 km when paired with the appropriate compatible wdm converter.
