Discharge Hose: The discharge hose is a flexible tube that connects the CO2 fire extinguisher’s cylinder to its discharge horn/nozzle. This hose is designed to withstand the high pressure of the carbon dioxide gas inside the cylinder. When the fire extinguisher is activated, the pressurized CO2 gas flows through the discharge hose, ultimately reaching the discharge horn.
