A Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) is a safety device designed to protect pipelines and equipment from excessive pressure by automatically releasing excess pressure.
Remains closed during normal operating pressure.
Opens automatically when pressure exceeds the set value.
Releases excess pressure to protect the system.
Closes again when the pressure returns to a safe level.
