Thinning: Most latex paints will need to be thinned with water (or solvent for oil-based) to pass through the nozzle smoothly. Use the included viscosity cup to verify.
Cleaning: Crucial. Always flush the system with water or mineral spirits immediately after use to prevent paint from drying inside the internal needle and nozzle.
Distance: Maintain a consistent distance of about 6–10 inches from the surface for an even finish.
