Triple-Lens Camera for Wide-Area Coverage
A major advantage of a multi-lens design is the ability to monitor a broad area. With a single conventional camera, the installer may need to carefully choose its position because objects outside the lens's field of view will not be captured. A triple-lens system can divide the viewing area between different camera modules. One lens can cover one direction while another covers a different direction, with the central or PTZ camera providing additional coverage. This makes the system useful for large entrances, outdoor compounds, parking lots, commercial buildings, and other locations where one camera position needs to cover several directions
