TCS indicators, particularly on commercial retail scales, are designed to display and process three primary values:
Weight Window: Shows the weight of the object on the platform (e.g. $15.00\text{ kg}$)
Unit Price Window: Allows the operator to input the price per unit (e.g. $\$5.00/\text{kg}$)
Amount Window: Automatically displays the total cost ( Total Price) by multiplying the weight by the unit price.
