Nicorette gum is a form of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) used to help people stop or reduce smoking.
It contains a controlled amount of nicotine, which is released when you chew the gum. The nicotine helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms while you gradually reduce your dependence on cigarettes.
How it works
Nicorette gum is not chewed like ordinary chewing gum:
Chew it slowly until you notice a peppery/tingling sensation.
“Park” it between your cheek and gum.
When the tingling fades, chew again.
Repeat this process for around 30 minutes, then discard it.
