High Alumina Content: Maxheat K is a high-alumina castable, with an alumina (Al_2O_3) content typically ranging from 56% to 60%. This high percentage of alumina is what gives it superior thermal stability and resistance to high temperatures.
High-Temperature Resistance: It is designed to be used in environments with medium to high temperatures, with a maximum service temperature of up to 1600°C (around 2912°F).
Durability and Strength: The cement forms a very dense structure when cured, which provides excellent mechanical strength and resistance to abrasion, thermal shock (rapid temperature changes), and chemical corrosion. This makes it ideal for heavy-duty industrial use.
