The Raspberry Pi Pico is a low-cost, high-performance microcontroller board built around the RP2040 chip designed by Raspberry Pi. It features a dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+ processor running at up to 133MHz, 264KB SRAM, and 2MB onboard Flash memory for code and data storage.
The board supports USB 1.1 device and host functionality with simple drag-and-drop programming over USB. It includes 26 multifunction GPIO pins, 2 SPI, 2 I2C, 2 UART interfaces, 3 × 12-bit ADC channels, and 16 PWM outputs.
Additional features include low-power sleep modes, an onboard temperature sensor, accurate clock and timers, floating-point libraries, and 8 programmable PIO state machines for custom peripheral support.
