Maintenance of fire extinguishers is essential. Not only is it effectively a legal requirement but as extinguishers play such a crucial part in putting fires out before they get out of hand, it's vital that they work if and when they're needed. NB: We also work on extinguishers that were installed by other companies and have not been serviced for a long time. We then place updated stickers in time for inspection by the County Fire brigade Department. Our fire safety engineer conducts the following processes during servicing: 1. Visually inspect the fire extinguisher for corrosion and damage. 2. Check if the extinguisher has been used. 3. Remove the discharge hose and check for blockages and corrosion. 4. Wipe down the extinguisher. 5. Ensure that the wall mountings are secure and in good condition before replacing the appliance back on the wall. 6. Finally, an inspection sticker is affixed on the cylinder, dated and signed. Please call for any inquiries.
