Sika Latex is a synthetic rubber (SBR) based liquid admixture used as a bonding agent and mortar/concrete improver. It is mixed with cement, mortar, or concrete to enhance adhesion, strength, flexibility, and resistance to water penetration.
When added, Sika Latex:
Improves bond strength between old and new concrete
Increases tensile and flexural strength
Reduces shrinkage cracking
Enhances waterproofing and abrasion resistance
Improves workability and durability
