MPV is microprocessor-controlled system designed to automate the cycling of water treatment and media-based filtration plants. Filter (Service): The everyday operating position. Untreated water enters the top of the tank, passes through the media bed (sand, carbon, or multimedia), and exits out the bottom as clean water. Backwash: Reverses the water flow. Water is pumped downward into the riser tube and upward through the filter media, lifting the bed to flush accumulated debris out through the drain port. Fast Rinse: reset the media bed after backwashing. Water flows in the standard filtration direction but goes out to the drain to pack down the media and ensure no loose residue reaches the service line. Waste (Drain): Bypasses the filter media entirely to route heavy debris or pool water directly out through the drain pipe.
