Manage and optimize multiple google business profiles (gbp) for bestcare brands and services
improve rankings on google maps (local pack / “top 3” visibility)
conduct keyword research for local service-based searches (e.G., cleaning nairobi, pest control near me)
optimize business categories, descriptions, services, and posts on google business profile
develop and execute a google reviews generation strategy
respond to customer reviews to improve engagement and trust signals
build and manage local citations (directories, listings, maps signals)
improve click-through rates (calls, whatsapp clicks, website visits) from google
track and report ranking performance for key locations (westlands, kilimani, karen, etc.)
coordinate with content team to align seo landing pages with google maps strategy
monitor competitors and adjust strategies to outperform them in local search

Proven experience in local seo and google business profile optimization
strong understanding of google maps ranking factors
experience managing multi-location service businesses (preferred)
knowledge of seo tools (google search console, ahrefs, semrush, brightlocal or similar)
ability to generate and manage online reviews ethically and consistently
preferred skills:
experience ranking businesses in competitive local markets
knowledge of kenyan seo landscape
content coordination experience (seo landing pages + gbp synergy)
basic understanding of conversion optimization (calls, leads, whatsapp clicks)
strong analytical skills and reporting ability
understanding of service industries (cleaning, pest control, facilities management is a plus)
ability to work independently and deliver measurable results
Mahitaji ya chini ya Kufuzu
Proven track record: at least 2–4 years of dedicated experience managing and ranking service-area businesses (sabs) or multi-location brands.
Local search mastery: deep understanding of proximity, relevance, and prominence ranking factors within google's local algorithm.
Tool stack proficiency: expert hands-on knowledge of google search console, google analytics, ahrefs/semrush, and specialized local tools like brightlocal, local falcon, or whitespark.
Conversion-first mindset: solid understanding of how local profiles affect click-through rates (ctr) and conversion paths (calls, whatsapp, forms).
Independence: self-motivated professional capable of executing audits, finding ranking gaps, and proving roi independently.
Experience in service industries (facilities management, cleaning, logistics, or technical maintenance) is a distinct advantage.
