This machine uses ultraviolet and magnetic detection methods to verify the authenticity of banknotes. Counterfeit notes often use paper that reflects UV light, while real banknotes absorb it. Magnetic detection identifies notes printed with magnetic ink. The machine can also add up the total value of bills counted.
