I earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistic (with IT), Maseno University and acquired five years of experience in Data analysis, monitoring and evaluation related accomplishments. I have previously worked in the same capacity and proven excellent performance in data handling with attention to quality and accuracy.
I have extensive knowledge of MS Office Applications, data collection, quality monitoring, processing and statistical analysis. My experience includes monitoring design projects, training new staff (casuals) and working closely with the staff and different departments handling each project to ensure all activities are implemented as scheduled.
I have always been a numbers person, with exceptional data skills (statistics) and computer skills. I am fluent in a number of data management systems and software, including, Epi info/ENA, Excel and SPSS.As much as I’m into data handling; it’s the data entry, analysis of data that really gets me going. I ‘m motivated towards efficient use of Stata, SAS and other statistical software for effectual delivery of services.
My work experience as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Assistant at Save the Children enabled me to undertake Quality benchmarks, data Quality Audit/checks on data focused on improving the quality of programs and reports. This experience has refined my skills in data management and expanded my Scope in Monitoring and Evaluation.
