Bull float is a long-handled concrete finishing tool used to smooth and level freshly poured concrete immediately after it has been screeded.
Bull float consists of:
•A large, flat rectangular blade, usually made of magnesium, aluminum, wood, or composite material.
•A long handle (often telescoping), allowing the user to reach across large concrete slabs without stepping onto the wet concrete.
•A tilting bracket that lets the operator adjust the blade angle while pushing and pulling the tool
