Mercedes-Benz W204 models (C-Class produced from 2008 to 2014), the central screen display configuration is tied directly to the infotainment generation (Pre-Facelift vs. Facelift) and system trim level (Audio 20 vs. COMAND).
Because the screen acts as the central interface for audio, vehicle settings, and navigation, display failures are heavily documented on this platform.
