Gypsum board 9mm is a lightweight, non-structural interior building material composed of a dense core of natural gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate) encased in a smooth, durable paper facing. With a standard thickness of 9 millimeters, it is designed for use in dry interior environments for wall linings and ceiling systems in residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. The board offers a flat, even surface suitable for painting, wallpapering, or other decorative finishes, and provides inherent fire resistance due to the gypsum content. It is easy to cut, handle, and install using standard drywall techniques. However, it is not moisture-resistant and should not be used in wet or high-humidity areas unless specified as moisture-resistant. Typical dimensions are 1200mm x 2400mm, but may vary depending on the manufacturer.
