it s new but i opened the box to take a picture. all protective plastic still on the battery. also comes with adhesive removal kit.

these batteries hold a full charge, but the percent charge reported by the computer does not seem to be right for ifixit batteries. the percent charge as reported by the computer drops suddenly, maybe roughly around 30%. however, i am using the same type of battery successfully.
