the keyboard is designed for use with an led backlight, but the backlight is not included (we offer it separately). you may also be able to reuse your existing keyboard backlight.
note: the original keyboard is secured with rivets which can't be replaced. you'll need to use screws to install this keyboard (we offer a screw set separately)
