Feeding molasses to a dairy cow helps the rumen function and ultimately the digestibility of the other feeds the cow is eating. You can also use it for day-old chicks for the first 3 days during introduction in the brooder, as it is a rich source of energy. However,take care not to overdose, as it can be dangerous because it can cause diarrhea, leading to dehydration.The correct amount would be 1 liter of mollases in 10 liters of water, or 100 ml of mollases in 1 liter of water.
