Chemical Composition & How It Works:
• CB (Coated Back) – The Top Sheet: The underside of the white master sheet is coated with millions of microscopic, pressure-sensitive capsules containing a colorless dye.
• CFB (Coated Front and Back) – The Middle Sheet(s): Used in triplicate or quadruplicate configurations, these intermediate sheets feature a reactive clay layer on the front to capture the text from above, and a dye capsule layer on the back to pass the text down.
• CF (Coated Front) – The Bottom Sheet: The final copy features a reactive clay layer exclusively on its top surface to lock in the final duplicate.
