How does “Jiji Delivery” work for buyers?

“Jiji Delivery” is a simple and secure way to get items from sellers on Jiji – with no prepayments. We’ve partnered with “Pickup Mtaani” to make the whole process smooth: from placing a delivery order to paying when the item arrives. 

You can only use Jiji Delivery with sellers who’ve activated this service. Just use the ”Jiji Delivery” option under the “Delivery” filter to find eligible ads. You can check which items qualify for Jiji Delivery here.

If a seller offers Jiji Delivery, you’ll see the “Order Jiji Delivery” button on their ads. You or the seller can create a delivery order in just a few clicks. Learn more about delivery orders here.

The delivery price depends on where you want the item delivered. You can read more about delivery options here. Whether you or a seller creates a delivery order, the delivery price must be paid upfront at the order creation stage (more on delivery costs here).

Once the item arrives and you’re happy with it, you can pay in cash or via M-Pesa. If the product doesn’t meet your expectations, just reject it – no need to pay 👌
